Yesterday we celebrated Day of the Dead in Mexico and, each year, our family visits the cemetery. We like to check on the grave sites of my grandparents and great-grandparents, do a little maintenance, and have a picnic. We didn't plan it, but to keep my son occupied when he started to get antsy, I asked him if he wanted to take some pictures. I told him to photograph anything that interested him. I thought you might enjoy seeing his Day of the Dead photo essay. (How fascinating to see what catches the eye of an eight year old, right?).
